On December 9th, 2025, Toronto's Confronting Anti-Black Racism Advisory Committee (CABRAC) proposed to City Council to budget $250,000 per neighbourhood to conduct community-led planning. City Council is currently considering if to implement the proposal. The Executive Committee expressed that the proposal aligns in spirit with their interest, but have not yet committed to allocate funding.
